Blender-Vertical-MainImageAll of Doyle’s vertical blenders are made of #304 stainless steel, from the drums and support structure to the enclosed legs and tubular frame. We have a vertical blender for your every need ranging from our smaller 6, 8 & 10 ton blenders to our 13 & 16 ton Fatboys.

Hopper Options:

  • Low profile (small) hopper assembly, #304 stainless steel construction, 82″  wide, includes mild steel screen
  • Mid size hopper assembly, #304 stainless steel construction, 90″ wide, includes  mild steel screen
  • Mid size hopper assembly, with material conditioner, #304 stainless steel  construction, 90″ wide
    (includes mild steel bar grate, #304 stainless steel screen with 3/4″ dia. holes, 16″ dia. reverse flighted  auger, 10 HP TEFC motor, and shaft mounted gearbox)
  • 9 ft. Wide hopper in lieu of standard 8 ft. Large

  • Hopper Options:
    – Extra Large = 9’ Wide, 8’ Load Height
    – Large = 8’ Wide, 7’-8” Load Height (Standard Hopper)
    – Mid-Size = 7’-6” Wide, 7’-1” Load Height
    – Low Profile = 6’-9” Wide, 6’-6” Load Height

Salem Valve Discharge Options:

  • 30″ salem valve, to be used with 30″ Loadout Conveyors (Fat Boy Verticals Only)
  • 24″ salem valve, to be used with 24″ Loadout Conveyors
  • 18″ salem valve, to be used with Loadout Conveyors less than 24″ wide
  • Small mouth salem valve (Blenders with 36-18 Auger ONLY)

Salem Valve Opener Options:

  • Manual handle assembly, long (for opening discharge on intake hopper side  of blender)
  • Manual handle assembly, short **Standard on all Vertical Blenders
  • Air operated salem valve opener, with electric solenoids
  • Electric operated salem valve opener
  • Push button switch for above air or electric openers
  • Hydraulic salem valve opener (specify RH or LH, determined by looking loadout  conveyor hopper, with conveyor heading away from the blender)
  • Electric switch for above hydraulic opener, 230 Volt
  • Electric switch for above hydraulic opener, 460 Volt

Scale & Scale Frame Options:

  • 6,8, & 10 Ton Rice Lake, shear beam, stainless steel scale, stainless steel frame
  • 6,8, & 10 Ton Rice Lake, shear beam, mild steel scale, stainless steel frame
  • 10,13, & 16 Ton Fat-Boy Rice Lake, shear beam, mild steel scale, stainless steel frame
  • 2″ x 4″ stainless steel block kit, vertical blender (set of 8)
  • 10, 13, & 16 Ton Fat-Boy Rice Lake Stainless Steel 4 Load Cell Scale

All scale frames are now stainless steel.

6 Ton Vertical

The Doyle 6 Ton Vertical Blender gives you big blender performance at a smaller price. If six ton batches are right for you, then this is the blender you need. The 6 ton blender comes with all the standard features above and uses a 30 HP TEFC motor.

8 Ton Vertical

The Doyle 8 Ton Vertical Blender is the still one of our most popular size blenders, even with the tenders being used today. The 8 ton blender offers the versatility you need at a price you can afford. The 8 ton blender has all the great features listed above, and uses a 40 HP TEFC motor.

The Doyle 10 Ton Vertical Blender increases your blend capacities for filling large capacity spreaders and tenders. The 10 ton blender makes quick work of your batch blending. The 10 ton blender comes with a 50 HP TEFC motor, and the features listed above.

10 Ton “Fat-Boy” Vertical

With it’s 60 HP TEFC motor the Doyle 10 ton “Fat-Boy” Vertical Blender will increase your blend capacities for filling large capacity spreaders, tenders, and trailers. This blender makes quick work of your batch blending, requiring half the space of a conventional rotary style blender, our 10 ton “Fat-Boy” Vertical Blender is an excellent choice for today’s high volume, high capacity facilities. With its 44” – 26” TAPERED SCREW its Intake Speed: Approx. 4,000 – 4,500 lbs. per min. – is the Highest capacity in the Industry!

13 Ton “Fat-Boy” Vertical

Like the 10 ton, but with a larger 75 HP TEFC motor and a 13-metric ton overall capacity the Doyle 13 ton “Fat-Boy” Vertical Blender increases your blend capacities and can load a 24-ton tender in two batches. With its 44” – 26” TAPERED SCREW its Intake Speed: Approx. 4,000 – 4,500 lbs. per min. – is the Highest capacity in the Industry! The 13 ton “Fat-Boy” vertical blender is perfect for blending dry prilled and granular materials for large capacity spreaders, tenders, and trailers.

16 Ton “Fat-Boy” Vertical

The Doyle 16 ton “Fat-Boy” Vertical Blender maximizes your blend capacities with it’s 100 HP TEFC motor. This, our largest vertical blender, will make quick work of all your batch blending needs. Our 16 ton “Fat-Boy” Vertical Blender with its 16-metric ton overall capacity is an excellent choice for today’s high volume, high capacity facilities. With its 44” – 26” TAPERED SCREW its Intake Speed: Approx. 4,000 – 4,500 lbs. per min. – is the Highest capacity in the Industry!
